Pre-K Worksheet: Shapes & Counting

Let’s make counting fun while reviewing shapes as well. The numbers being reviewed are 1-7 for early math beginners. This activity will assist young children in beginning to learn how to hold pencils/crayons, while they color in the correct amount of shapes that match the number they’re given.

If you plan to use this activity more than once, or for multiple children I’d recommend printing once and keeping it in a sleeve. Then your child can use a dry erase marker while it’s still in a protective cover, that way the activity can continue to be used multiple times. This fun yet simple worksheet is ideal for children who are just learning to count or for review.
